The Department

Our English department is devised of a team of highly capable, intelligent and lively personalities! We're looking for teachers with the extra pazzaz to excite and inspire our students in the classroom. An incredibly supportive and nurturing group of people, we look forward to welcoming you to the team. 

The School

Starbank is a very large school which has been growing steadily since 2010. We were originally a split-site primary school and were rated outstanding when last inspected in 2012. In 2014 we became an all-through school, introducing a new secondary intake each year since September 2014. A brand new building was opened in September 2016 which can accommodate 900 secondary students in addition to 420 of our primary pupils.

Starbank School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational all-through school in the West Midlands, serving students from the age of 3-16. The all-through school, situated in Birmingham has approximately 890 students on record.

Starbank School became an all-through school in 2014 and is located over three sites – Starbank Road, Bierton Road and Hob Moor Road. Facilities for primary and secondary school students include a iMac suites, specialist science equipment and a Arts and Design Technology room.
