Bowden House School is a residential, special school for boys aged 9 – 16+ years whose Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties have had an impact upon their ability to learn in a mainstream setting. 

The school is seeking an experienced, dynamic teacher who has a proven record of behaviour management techniques to ensure student progress is made. You will support the school in raising attainment in this subject and bring new ideas to enhance the students’ learning.

The vacancy offers the opportunity to be part of a skilled, friendly and committed team of professionals. 

Experience of working with students who have a Statement of Special Educational Needs/EHC Plan is desirable. An ability to work as part of a team is essential.

The ability to offer support in another subject area would be advantageous and to be an enthusiastic individual with a passion to teach secondary students.
