English teacher

The EIB campus at La Jonchère is located 30 minutes from Paris Ouest in the heart of a magnificent 2 hectare park.

Your responsibilities :

You will be responsible for a class in our school based in La Celle saint Cloud, under the supervision of our Head of School as a English teacher. You will be teaching secondary school students.

Your main tasks will include:

- Designing, implementing and evaluating learning situations within the framework of the secondary curriculum.

- Teaching the different areas of learning in English at secondary school level 

- Design and implement learning assessment methods

- Monitor individual students.

- Use information and communication technologies to support learning.

- Ensure that the classroom environment is consistent with the school's values and remains true to our learning principles.

- Deliver a strong, challenging and engaging curriculum by grade level with a clear sequence of knowledge, skills and understanding.

- To ensure that the English curriculum fully meets the needs of the students and is delivered effectively.

Your profile:

- Level of qualification required: You have an English secondary school diploma/Master's degree in English.

- You should preferably have previous experience of teaching in English at secondary level

- You are organised, autonomous, rigorous and a good listener

- You enjoy working in a team

- You have a precise knowledge of English grammar and culture and a broad general knowledge

- You have good interpersonal skills in order to inspire confidence in both students and their parents
