We are seeking a bright, confident and positive individual to join our Academic team as a Teacher in English from September 2018. This role is to teach a full timetable at KS3 & 4. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills with experience of teaching English but is also happy to teach/learn to teach Drama. This role is designed to contribute to the excellent academic standards of the School and to the success of the department. The post holder will be required to play a full and active role in the broader School life, pastorally and artistically. This role is suitable for NQT's to apply for.
There is an opportunity to take on an additional role in one of our boarding houses ensuring that students have a secure and supportive ‘home from home’ during term time as well as the day-to-day support of the House team. Salary: In line with teacher’s pay scale with consideration of knowledge, skills and experience
Hours: Full time throughout term time, Monday to Friday. There are no academic lessons on Saturdays however all staff are expected to undertake weekend activities in line with the details on the job description and applicants should be aware that there are a number of parents’ meetings and other formal school events at the weekend.
