New Rickstones Academy is graded Good’ and has a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff alike. 

We are looking for an inspirational English Tutor to join us and provide intervention support to students in order to support raising attainment. 

With a minimum Level 3 English qualification, you will be able to demonstrate the talent and  interpersonal skills and a range of teaching strategies. Above all, you must have a passion for English and be able to inspire and motivate your students. 

This role presents an exciting opportunity for applicants who have a degree (or are studying for a degree), as you gain experience to potentially develop a career within teaching.  A number of our support staff have progressed to our School Direct Teacher Training programme, for further information on this programme, please contact Jodie Day on 07825 330257.

This position is initially based at New Rickstones Academy. However, as we work closely with our sister academy, Maltings Academy (also in Witham), all new contracts are to work across both academies. 

Work will be on a casual basis.

About New Rickstones Academy

New Rickstones Academy is a secondary school based in Witham.  This is an exciting time to join New Rickstones Academy as we continue to expand. Over the last 8 years, student numbers have more than doubled, leading to oversubscription and the addition of a new building in September 2022 to accommodate the growing demand.
