Our school

The Brit-Magyar (British-Hungarian) school is a private foundation school which recently opened in September 2020 in Budapest. The main founders of the school are British and Hungarian with extensive experience in international education. Our vision is to be Hungary’s leading elementary and middle school through a passion for progressive teaching methodology and by providing a broad-based education so students become complete global citizens. The benefit for staff of a start-up school is that you have the opportunity to help shape and develop our curriculum, teaching methodologies and best educational practices. Our culture is very consensual and we make decisions and plans through discussion.
