About the role:  Are you a competent and ambitious Site Manager with experience of working across multiple sites? Are you seeking a new opportunity that allows you to put your leadership and managerial skills to use whilst still maintaining your practical knowledge? Leigh Academies Trust has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to join us in the role of Estates Manager, working across our four successful and collaborative Primary Academies based in Maidstone; Langley Park Primary Academy, Molehill Primary Academy, Tree Tops Primary Academy and Oaks Primary Academy.  This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to increase their responsibility and exposure within the primary sector remit with the opportunity of working across multiple sites.  The successful candidate will be part of our well-established and experienced site management teams who operate across the Trust, and the chance to work highly skilled site and business specialists alike. 

Whilst the academies are in close proximity, travel between sites is paramount so our ideal candidate must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.  Key responsibilities include the following;

  • To ensure that the premises and grounds of the Tree Tops, Oaks, Molehill and Langley Park Primary Academies are maintained and developed
  • To ensure the security and fabric of all buildings is maintained at all times and be the primary contact for out of hours emergency call outs
  • Manage the relationship with all FM contractors at the aforementioned academies 
  • To contribute to the creation of a safe, positive environment that is conducive to the promotion of learning
  • Responsible for the delivery of all works, projects and compliance checks at the aforementioned Academies
  • Line Management of Site Staff within the aforementioned academies
  • The implementation of all LAT and Academy Policies relating to estates and facilities.

About Tree Tops Primary Academy

Working for Tree Tops Primary Academy: Tree Tops Primary Academy, located on the outskirts of Maidstone, is set in magnificent grounds with ample space for both outdoor learning and play. Our thriving nursery is located on site and offers an excellent start for our children’s education. We have separate and spacious facilities for Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
