Estates Manager

Established in 1890 the school is vibrant and thriving, valuing the traditions of the past whilst embracing the best of modern education. Hazelwood is set amongst 25 acres of glorious woodlands on the Surrey Kent border, within easy reach of London and Gatwick. The school has recently been nominated for an i25 Award in recognition of its inventive and pioneering approach to teaching and learning.

We are looking for a highly motivated and energised individual to lead our experienced Estates Team taking responsibility for the upkeep and presentation of over 25 acres of glorious school grounds including buildings, sports grounds and outdoor play areas. The role requires hands-on maintenance as well as managerial, project and financial planning tasks.  Qualifications in one or more skill relevant to the role (eg carpentry, electrics or plumbing) would be an advantage.

The role is a full time, 52 weeks per year, position working 8.00am until 5pm each day.  The successful candidate will work across the Hazelwood School and Nursery sites.
