The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) is seeking to appoint a dynamic, high achieving The Estates Partner with a specialism in Health & Safety Compliance.
The Estates Partner - Health & Safety Compliance is directly responsible for the Site Managers and Caretakers at the Trust’s Secondary Schools.
This role is pivotal to ensuring that the Trust undertakes a strategic approach to health & safety; proactively maintaining compliance in accordance with legislation, the Department for Education, as well as Trust’s own policies and procedures.
Reporting to the Partnership Head of Estates, you will provide technical expert advice in relation to health & safety matters, as necessary, across the Trust.
You are required to have a Degree/ HNC or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience in a relevant subject or a specialist technical qualification or membership of an appropriate professional institution. A NEBOSH qualification is preferred.
You should have the flexibility to work in all our schools.
You will be enthusiastic, flexible, organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail. The ability to prioritise a busy workload is essential, as is the need to meet deadlines whilst dealing with interruptions. Previous experience in managing an Estates/Facilities function is essential.
