36 hours per week term time only plus 10 days.  

This job is a crucial post in the school demanding precision and accuracy as well as high levels of IT capability.  As Examination Manager you will be responsible for a team of invigilators and would need to communicate widely with faculty staff regarding examination entries. 

The Data Manager will be accountable for the management of the school Management Information System and all school data, assessment and reporting.  The duties will be defined by the Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team but a degree of independence will be required.

The successful candidate will have experience of SIMS, relevant experience in an education setting and proven ability to undertake a variety of duties executed with excellence at this level.

The role requires an individual who has a very high level of understanding of data management and its complexities, excellent organisational skills and can demonstrate an ability to work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate clearly with a wide variety of audiences. This is a key strategic role for helping drive school improvement and it is expected that the person appointed will have a sound knowledge of the current educational landscape.
