Exams Officer

Dr Challoner's High School is a leading selective state grammar school for girls, with a strong academic tradition and an ambitious outlook for the future. We are looking for an Exams Officer to join our school. This is a particularly important, rewarding and pivotal post and the main purpose is to lead and manage the complete external examinations process and significant elements of internal examinations.  The role requires strong communications skills, a high level of accuracy and organisation, computer literacy and the ability to manage expenditure.  The contract is 37 hours/week for 38 weeks (term time) plus 2 weeks, mainly in August.

Although the role is focused on Exams, for the right candidate, there is an opportunity to expand the role to encompass some aspects of Sixth Form Admissions. The addition of this role would be reflected in the salary scale offered, making it pay scale 5.
