Executive Headteacher

A rare opportunity has become available to work with a Federation of two Primary schools.

The Federation of Bedenham and Holbrook Primary Schools is looking to recruit a visionary Executive Head Teacher to build on the Federation's current progress and inspire both staff and children to work to their greatest potential.  This role is a challenging but rewarding one with the opportunity for significant professional development.  We are seeking an experienced leader who can demonstrate their strategic skills and take the Federation forward by strengthening the ethos of Federation and building strong, cohesive teams.

We would like someone who:

• Has good management and communication skills
• Will provide a consistent approach across both schools
• Is approachable and supportive of all staff 
• Can strengthen teaching and learning 
• Has high expectations
• Will acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of all children

The Federation comprises two schools with approximately 280 and 240 pupils respectively. Bedenham school's PAN is 45 and Holbrook's is 30, having just reduced from 45 this September. Both schools are located a short distance from each other on the Gosport Peninsula in Hampshire, serving broadly the same catchment area.
