Job overview

Executive Headteacher
Enderby Road Infant and Nursery and Leys Farm Junior School
North Lincolnshire
Numbers on role:  104 plus Nursery and 156

Due to the retirement of both established Headteachers the Enderby Road Infant and Nursery School and Leys Farm Junior School governors have a unique opportunity to appoint an Executive Headteacher to lead our two successful schools.  The governors are in the strategic process of federating to produce a single governing body to support both schools.

We are looking for an inspirational person who can lead us forward on the next stage of our journey and build on our achievements. We want to work with an Executive Headteacher with ambition and integrity to drive forward our vision and ethos around all our children and the whole school community.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to lead both schools, someone who truly believes that the children are the heart of all that we do. The successful candidate will continue to ensure wide ranging curricular and extra-curricular opportunities whilst seeking to ensure that every child reaches their potential, with nurturing and emotional support given the highest priority.

Both schools provide a safe, caring environment and a wealth of learning opportunities that ensures that each child develops socially, academically and emotionally. We are confident that you will find a community where standards of behaviour and respect for others are given a high priority, where every child is encouraged to strive to achieve their best and, above all, an environment where children are happy and eager to learn.

We want all children to be happy and successful in our schools receiving the very best possible education. We firmly believe that all children need to receive a wealth of experiences.

To help you achieve our vision we can offer you:

  • Motivated staff who ensure all children reach their full potential

  • A supportive but challenging governing bo

  • A community who values both schools

  • Pupils who strive to do their best

If you think you would like to rise to the challenge of this new strategic role to lead the federation the governors would like to hear from you.  Please visit our websites to find out more about both of our schools. We would encourage and warmly welcome interested candidates to arrange a visit.

We are committed to the safety and well-being of the whole school community. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and participate in a safer recruitment process in line with our safeguarding procedures.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on 30 March 2020.
The interviews will take place on the 27 and 28 April 2020.
