Salary: Full time salary is £17,072 per annum, which equates to a £6,039.34 term time annum salary.

Location: St Ursula's E-ACT Academy

Hours of Work: 3:00-6:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

St Ursula's E-ACT Academy is a Primary Academy on the site of the former St Ursula's private school. We have recently moved into our new building as of November 2016, which is located just behind the old school site and remains on the original school grounds.

After-School Club Play Workers:

St Ursula's E-ACT Academy are looking for x2 experienced After-School Play Workers to assist the After-School Club Manager in the development, organisation and day to day management of the club. 

The post-holder will be responsible to St Ursula's E-ACT Academy's After-School Club Manager. 

The working hours will be 15:00-18:30 from Monday to Friday, and we are looking for the successful candidate to commence employment at the beginning of February 2018.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Experience of work/play with children of primary age.

•Interest in the play and emotional needs of children aged between 4 and 11 years of age.

•Awareness of what constitutes 'good quality childcare.'

•Interest in planning play, arts and sports activities for children of primary age.

•Commitment to working within an equal opportunities framework.

•Ability to provide warm and consistent care to all children attending the scheme.

•Ability to understand and meet children's needs including those of children with special needs.

•Understanding of health and safety issues that affect the day to day running of childcare services.

•Experience of working as part of a team.

•Good physical and emotional health, and the ability to work on own initiative.
