The role
We are seeking, from September 2018, an excellent EYFS teacher to lead and manage our EYFS team on our journey to outstanding in a stable and successful school. Working in a partnership with an Assistant Headteacher, you will have the vision, drive and strong interpersonal skills to bring the best out of our committed and skilled nursery staff team and build a strong partnership with our parents. In addition to our Reception classes, we have a 65 full time equivalent nursery. Both areas have well- developed outdoor learning areas.

Aston Tower is a popular two-form entry multi-cultural school that serves a community which really values and supports our work. We have friendly, responsive and enthusiastic children whose attitudes to learning were described as ‘excellent’ by Ofsted along with their ‘outstanding’ behaviour. Our large staff team in the early years are skilled, caring and committed; governors are keen to be involved and are highly supportive. The school is very well resourced. Our well-kept modern premises are set in spacious grounds.
