Are you an outstanding teacher with proven leadership qualities?

We are looking for a visionary and enthusiastic leader of Early Years to take our good provision (30 place Nursery and 30 place Reception class) to the next level of its development. The role also involves leadership of Art and DT. The successful candidate will be a member of our Senior Leadership Team, and will therefore be taking part in significant strategic, long term decisions for the school. The candidate will teach in the reception class and will be released for Leadership time. Experience of successful EYFS teaching is essential.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has excellent teaching ability in Early Years
  • has expert knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and handbook 
  • has a proven track record of good teaching and leadership in EYFS.
  • has good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • has a strong commitment to raising achievement
  • can inspire and motivate pupils and staff
  • is knowledgeable and passionate about education
  • commits themselves to success through effort and teamwork
  • is a team player with a sense of humour
