St Stephen’s International School, Bangkok Campus, is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified, dynamic and enthusiastic Nursery/EYFS teaching professional to join our successful teaching team for August 2018
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery/EYFS teacher to join an established school with a strong supportive Early Years and Primary department. The School follows the Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, modified to suit the local environment, and bases its curriculum on the Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage Guidance.
The EYFS department has a Nursery class and two classes in each of the KG and Reception year groups. The school also runs a parent and toddler group. The EYFS department is a crucial part of our Primary School and you will find the entire Primary team to be professional, warm, supportive and approachable.
The successful applicant, in addition to their daily classroom duties, will also support the after school activities programme and be responsible for their classroom assistants.
It is essential to:
- Have current experience of working within the English Nursery/EYFS Framework
- Be a native-level English speaker
- Be appropriately qualified (e.g. B.Ed. or a first degree and a PGCE)
- Provide three professional referees, one of whom must be your current Principal
It is desirable to have experience of:
- Working in the international sector
St. Stephen’s is located in the north of Bangkok, close to Don Muang airport and the world famous Chatuchak market. The school is two form entry and caters for all ages from Nursery to Year 13.
We encourage all interested candidates to apply to the Principal, via the online application form (see below) and send their CV, with a recent photograph directly to email@example.com
Please note that St. Stephen’s International School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including a criminal record disclosure and other standard pre‐employment safeguarding checks.
Successful candidates for teaching posts will normally be offered a two-year contract, renewable by mutual agreement.
Closing date: 30 June 2018. The school will be looking for a quick appointment and so those interested are advised to apply as early as possible. Interviews will be held in Bangkok and by Skype.
