Job overview

This role is initially temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent.


We are part of a National MAT (Multi Academy Trust) within the Northern regional hub of two primary and two secondary academies. This means we have access to a wide range of facilities and opportunities. We work very closely with our Northern region hub schools, and have opportunities to share skills and knowledge with a wider range of practitioners. 


We already have many of the ingredients that make up an 'outstanding' school: a positive, enthusiastic staff committed to achieving the best for all pupils; a caring creative atmosphere; a bright, cheerful, well-resourced environment and happy, motivated, well behaved children.


What we don't have is you! You could be that key ingredient that helps us get to 'outstanding' and beyond.


We are looking for a class teacher who wants to grow and develop in a supportive team.


In short, we need teachers who share our determination to make E-Act Blackley Academy outstanding. 


We need someone who is committed to working in partnership with children, staff, parents, and the local community. Someone who understands how children learn and has extensive subject knowledge. Someone who is prepared to go the extra mile for our wonderful children. 


Our teachers will, above all, have high expectations of children, colleagues and themselves.
