EYFS teacher

Are you an inspirational, caring teacher passionate about early childhood education? BC Academy in Dubai has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, innovative and dedicated practitioner to work with our amazing children of 1-5 years old.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher at BC Academy located in Dubai. The EYFS teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, developing age-appropriate lesson plans, and assessing and reporting on children's progress. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and will be committed to creating a positive classroom environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning.

About the school

BC Academy is a unique education provider. The network was founded eleven years ago to provide multilingual education to kindergarten children. Since then it has grown into a seven-campus establishment, with two International Schools, 5 Kindergartens and a new campus in the city Dubai opening in 2024.

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
• Demonstrated experience teaching young learners (ages 1-5)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to ongoing professional development
• Knowledge of early childhood curriculum frameworks, such as the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Fluency in English and the ability to work with students for whom English is a second language
• Experience working in an international school setting is a plus
