Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a part time Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Gateshead starting in January 2018. Hours include working Monday – Friday from 8.30 until 15.30.

This average-sized primary school has high staff morale, with a governing body that is committed to promoting progression for their Teachers.  The governing body, head teacher and leaders and staff have a clear understanding of the schools strengths and are aware of areas to develop further. The school are looking for a passionate member to join their team to help the school progress.

The successful teaching assistant will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities. To be considered for the position of the TA you must:

  • Have experience teaching primary education at      EYFS level
  • Hold a      Teaching Assistant Level 3 Diploma or above  
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a      committed team of Primary Teachers

  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability      to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
