Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an EYFS Teaching Assistant / Key Stage One Teaching Assistant / KS1 Teaching Assistant / KS1 TA to join our successful teaching team and to work in a primary school in Weston-Super-Mare. This is a part-time position, starting immediately, temporary in the first instance.

The desired EYFS Teaching Assistant / Key Stage One Teaching Assistant / KS1 Teaching Assistant / KS1 TA will be working within Early Years and Year 1 class. The school as seeking a Teaching Assistant with excellent experience of working within Early Years / Key Stage one. Supporting the Teacher to delivering creative lessons, Strong differentiation skills, and the ability to engage children is a must.  

The school is a medium sized, welcoming setting, following a Christian ethos. The school is pushing for a ‘good’ ofsted and has a strong structure and a positive, hardworking staff to make this happen.

To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant / Key Stage One Teaching Assistant / KS1 Teaching Assistant / KS1 TA, you will:

• Be an experienced Teaching assistant or have worked within Early Years settings

• Have at least two years’ experience working within Educational settings

• Be flexible, resilient and the ability to think on their feet

• hold a current enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to undergo one through Vision for Education and have it registered on the Update Service
