Facilities Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Facilities Manager to assist the Estates Director in managing the delivery of facilities management services across the trust and committed to providing students with an excellent teaching environment.

Experience in managing Health and Safety for a large organisation is essential, as is the possession of NEBOSH qualifications. The person appointed will act as the designated Health and Safety Officer for the trust, preparing risk assessments and ensuring all sites are safe for all staff, students and visitors. The post holder will ensure full compliance with all health and safety legislation and best practice at all times.

The successful candidate will have strong project and people management skills and be committed to providing excellent customer service to all schools across the trust. You will be a `hands on` manager with experience in managing and developing teams, and the ability to manage the daily conflicting demands upon the premises team, ensuring they meet deadlines and deliver a quality service to the highest standards. 

The post holder will be responsible for emergency call outs and will need to be flexible on working hours to manage the fluctuating requirements of the position.
