SALARY: MPR/UPR + TLR 1C £9,472  

The Governors of this school are looking to appoint an experienced and outstanding practitioner who is passionate about ICT and has the drive and ability to provide inspirational leadership to take the faculty forward on the next stage of its developmental journey.   

You will join a very successful, supportive and friendly teaching team who are committed to sustaining and improving results. You will be required to teach across the full age and ability range within both Key Stage 3 and 4 including GCSE level and have the ability, drive and commitment to maintain and improve the current success rate.  The ability to teach Computer Science and Business at Key Stage 4 is essential.  

You should:  

• Have leadership experience or potential; 

• Possess the ability to support and develop staff; 

• Be a “Good” or “Outstanding” practitioner; 

• Be passionate about your subject; 

• Possess the ability to inspire, challenge and motivate students along with the ability to manage behaviour; 

• Have the ability to lead the faculty drive towards enabling all students to achieve their full potential. 

• Have the adaptability to hit the ground running; 

• Play an active role within the school and the wider community;  

• Be pro-active with the ability to act on your own initiative;  

We are a very successful leading Catholic 11 – 16 High School with 900 pupils on roll.  We have a strong record of examination success leading in recent years to a number of national awards.  We are located in Didsbury, often voted as one of the most popular places to live in Manchester, which has excellent transport links to Manchester City Centre and surrounding areas.
