About the Roles:

  • Faculty Leader - s x 3 – Mathematics, Humanities and RE Departments
  • Jan 2018 - Permanent
  • Responsible for:
  • Develop the teaching and learning program 
  • Organize Panel submissions and facilitate feedback 
  • Conduct Curriculum Activity Risk Assessments (CARAS) and maintain the necessary documentation
  • Meet appropriate standards of Workplace Health and Safety within the department’s area of responsibility 
  • Communicate effectively with parents on assessments, behaviour, classroom matters and absenteeism
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct excursions and incursions
  • Manage department special events.

About You:

In order to be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

  • Be eligible to work in Australia (must have a visa)
  • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in education
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers 
  • Be willing to contribute to co-curricular life and the school community
  • Must be respectful of the school values and ethos
  • Possess and provide appropriate reference details and police clearances
