A new exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, enthusiastic, patient and caring practitioner who is passionate about improving the outcomes for students. 

In this new role, you will be a key person providing support within our Inclusion Team and will work closely with students and their families, supporting them in school with their learning needs and working with external agencies. 

We are looking for someone who can engage positively, provide support and early intervention,  facilitate wellbeing  and advocacy in order to promote, strengthen, develop and maintain an active partnership between students / parents / school by working creatively and positively with parents to achieve maximum involvement in their child’s education through support and signposting to services and help them to overcome barriers to learning. 

You must have a strong understanding of secondary special educational needs and the issues which affect students and family wellbeing. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and planning skills and a good team ethic.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, ambitious professional who is interested in developing their own professional practice and a career in this field. 

This position is offered on a one-year fixed term contract subject to a review of impact and effectiveness.

Previous experience of working with young people within a school environment is essential.
