The PE Department has a wide range of excellent facilities. This includes a specialist PE teaching room with new computers, a fully equipped air conditioned fitness suite and a dance studio with mirrors. The school also has a fully equipped theatre with professional lighting and sound equipment and professional dance floor on the stage. Outside facilities include two newly resurfaced basketball courts, two netball courts, three tennis courts, two newly refurbished cricket nets, and two newly laid 3G full sized AstroTurf pitches, a newly laid dance surface on the stage in our Acorn theatre and fully equipped dance studio. The department has also benefitted from recent refurbishments to the PE staff workroom, student and staff changing rooms and sports hall.

Whitefield is a rapidly improving school. Our examination results continue to rise year on year. But we still have ambitious plans for the future.  The successful candidate will have access to Continuous Professional Development through our comprehensive internal and external CPD programme.
