Job overview

Applications are invited for the post of Finance Assistant to provide support in the administration of purchases and payment for goods or services.  Experience of regular hands-on use of financial accounting systems, a basic bookkeeping qualification and the ability to work accurately under pressure are required.  Use of Oracle accounting packages would be an advantage.  

Working hours are 35 per week Monday to Friday, year round.

City of London Freemen’s School is a mixed, selective, non-denominational all-through school with sixth form situated in Ashtead, Surrey. It is an independent boarding school owned by the City of London Corporation, which provides 16 of its 22 governors. The school will provide 920 places for primary, secondary and sixth-form students aged 7-18, when fully subscribed.

City of London Freemen’s was founded in 1854 in Brixton, where it educated both boys and girls. It moved to its current Surrey location in 1926, expanding in size to accommodate increasing numbers of students.
