We are looking for applicants with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to join our busy finance team to process financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner. As theFinance Assistant you will be a key member of the team and a point of contact for financial queries relating to expenses, fees, petty cash requests and purchase orders.
Working closely with the other members of the finance team you wil promote and maintain a high quality service, and ensure all financial transactions are processed and recorded accurately and in line with school financial policies. Applicants will need to be able to work well with others and communicate effectively with a wide range of people. In addition, you will need to possess initiative, the ability to work well under pressure and a high level of attention to detail.
You will be educated to a good GCSE standard, including English and Maths and have experience in financial accounting or bookkeeping, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. A recognised accountancy qualification is desirable but not essential.
