Finance Assistant - Term Time Only

FINANCE ASSISTANT 

Merrill Academy

Derby  22.5 Hours per Week, Term Time Only 

Salary: Scale 2, £7,879.66 to £8,443.37 per annum   

The Northworthy Trust are inviting applications for the above post based at Merrill Academy in Derby.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious team of staff.   The successful applicant will be professional, adaptable and able to demonstrate the following:  

• Working without supervision, on own initiative, or a part of a team 

• Excellent administration skills 

• Planning and priortising of their own work load 

• A good working knowledge of Financial and payroll systems 

• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing  

In addition, the applicant will be able to demonstrate their experience of a similar role and their suitability to working within a busy Finance department.  

 GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in Maths, English and Science are essential.  Relevant professional qualifications are desirable.
