The Governors are looking to appoint an efficient and motivated finance professional to deliver a comprehensive financial service to the school and the Multi Academy Trust.

Reporting to the School Business Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely reporting and administration of the academy’s financial accounts.

Applicants should be discreet; have excellent interpersonal skills; be able to work independently and as part of a team and communicate effectively with pupils, parents, staff and external organisations.  They should have the ability to manage, motivate and take responsibility for a small team.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SCHOOL
St. Thomas More High School is a voluntary aided Catholic comprehensive school for boys and girls aged 11 to 16, situated close to the centre of Crewe, in Cheshire. It is smaller than average; at present there are 604 pupils on roll with slightly more boys than girls . Most pupils are drawn from four parishes within the Shrewsbury Diocese, and the school serves a wide, diverse area that includes areas both of social deprivation and relative affluence.
