The Finance Manager will be responsible for the effective execution of the financial activities of the School, including the preparation and collection of School fees, credit control, salaries & pensions, purchasing, banking and cash flow and accounts preparation.


Applications are invited from a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and positive individual who will be integral to our finance and operations team. The role requires a keen attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and a willingness to take on a broad and varied range of tasks within a busy, friendly environment.


Key tasks include responsibility for the:

•   School’s financial systems (Sage 50 Accounts & Payroll).

•   Management of the School accounting function, ensuring its efficient operation.

•   Invoicing and collection of fees using the School’s Management Information System.

•   Invoicing and collection of income from third party hirers.

•   Reconciliation of the School’s bank accounts, petty cash and credit cards.

•   Support in the preparation of the year end accounts.

•   Payroll service for all School staff, including managing all calculations relating to salary, payments and deductions, pensions, PAYE and National Insurance.
