Heckmondwike Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Finance Officer to join our academy as soon as possible, on a full time, permanent basis. We have recently joined Delta Academies Trust in March 2024.

Your new role

As the Finance Officer, you will support the Head of Academy through the provision of financial support and information. You will ensure the academy’s financial management is sound and procedures are adhered to with relevant reports submitted to the central Delta finance department in accordance with deadlines. 

Hours: 37 hours per week / Term Time only plus 20 days (42 weeks) but will consider all year round.

Heckmondwike Academy is a larger than average primary school situated in Heckmondwike, an old industrial town in the heart of the West Riding of Yorkshire. The school was created in 1995 by the amalgamation of Heckmondwike Junior School and Battye Street Infant and Nursery School and serves a culturally diverse population, which is reflected within the school’s own community.
