Part-time position: Term Time only + 2 weeks (41 weeks per year)

High Close School is a flourishing residential and day special school catering for up to 90 young people with a complex range of needs. We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to work with our School Bursar to provide a quality finance service to the school.

The role will require a person who:-

- Has strong finance and administration experience (ideally in a school setting but this is not essential).

- Can process financial transactions with a high level of accuracy and in a timely manner.

- Can prioritise their workload and show a flexible approach to their role.

- Has excellent communication skills.

This role is offered on a Part Time (30 hours) Term Time Only basis (39 weeks per year plus two additional weeks). This is however negotiable for the right person.

High Close School is a weekly boarding residential and day special school catering for young people with a complex range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

We cater for young people in KS2, KS3 and KS4. We offer a traditional school experience equivalent to mainstream with outcomes that includes recognised qualifications at the end of KS4.  We do this in small classes with high levels of pastoral care and support.
