Job overview

We are looking for a confident and competent First Aider and Medical Administrator to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the School’s well-being provision.  

Amongst other duties the successful candidate will:

• provide first class administrative support to the School Nurse, Counsellor and Designated Safeguarding Lead;

• administer first aid, treatment and supervision to pupils, under the guidance of the Lead Nurse and in their absence;

• liaise with staff and parents as necessary.

We would welcome applicants who are team focused and enthusiastic, who possess excellent administrative and organisational skills and who can demonstrate a working knowledge of Google docs and management information systems. The successful applicant will also have a good understanding of the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding issues when working in a school and will be willing to undertake ad-hoc jobs as needed.  Experience of working in a School environment would be an advantage, as would a current qualification in First Aid. 

It is envisaged that the post holder would work 3 days each week, 8am to 4pm, for 35 weeks a year during the School's term time.
