Actual salary: £10,744 - £11,178
We are seeking to appoint a technician to support our food and textile departments in delivering excellent teaching and learning. The role includes the ordering, making up and setting out of materials and equipment, assisting staff and students during lessons and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
The successful candidate will have:
• The ability to manage, monitor and maintain accurate stock/equipment records.
• The ability to work as part of a team, understand classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
• Good communication skills both written and oral and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and students.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• The ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise and adapt when working under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
• Accuracy and an eye for detail.
