Job overview
We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Teacher of Food Technology to join our Wellbeing faculty at Essa Foundation Academeis Trust. This role will be based at Essa Academy, although you may be asked to work across the Trust as reqired. Working as part of a small team you will deliver at KS4 NCFE Food and Cookery classes (both practical and theory)to groups of students. You will also be expected to deliver PSHE, Citizenship and Food and Nutrition at KS3. This is an important role where you can make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of our young people.
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering Food Technology classes in a secondary education environment. Prior experience of working with young people would be beneficial. The sucessful candidate will have excellent communication skills.
The role is paid at Main Scale.
