- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
McAuley College is seeking a qualified, experienced teacher to take on the exciting role of foundation teacher, as the school enters its third year of operation and expands to include Years 7 to 9 in 2019.
Specifically, the College is seeking teaching staff who have the capacity to teach across multiple disciplines including, but not limited to, Mathematics, English, Religion, Health and Physical Education, Humanities and Digital Technologies. Teachers should have a capacity to integrate technology as a tool to enhance student learning and embed whole school literacy and numeracy expected and effective teaching strategies. Accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic School is a distinct advantage.
Establishing a new school is a privilege which requires teachers who are resilient, hardworking and flexible. We are looking for people who are creative, both in the creation, planning and delivery of a contemporary and innovative curriculum, but also in their capacity to problem solve in a school which is developing resources, policies and procedures. All applicants must have either interim or full registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or be eligible for registration.
McAuley College is a Brisbane Catholic Education master-planned secondary co-educational College situated in Beaudesert in the heart of the Scenic Rim.
