The Directorate of Applied and Academic Learning has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and high quality teaching professional to join their team.
The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for their subject and for enhancing the future opportunities of their students. The candidate will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject and have significant and successful experience of delivering high quality learning and assessment which has added value to their students’ development, progress and progression.
Applicants should be willing to contribute to the development of new and existing courses and be able to inspire and motivate learners to work within quality procedures and to enhance the programme’s external connections.
Ideally, you should have experience of teaching and personal tutor leadership within Sport / Sport and Exercise Science at all levels with a particular emphasis on Physiology, Psychology, Nutrition and Coaching. The successful applicant would also be able to teach across other subjects such as NCFE Sport, BTEC Sport, Sport and Exercise Science (from entry level to Level 5).
Possession of a teacher training qualification is essential and the ability to offer other provision within the Applied and Academic Learning area (Apprenticeships) would be a distinct advantage.
