The Lakes School is seeking a full time permanent Teacher of English to join our English department from 7th January 2019 or as soon as possible after this date. Ability to teach A-Level English Language would be an advantage.

We are seeking an outstanding classroom practitioner to join our English team with the commitment and energy to inspire our students. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the ability and age range, including A Level and will join experienced colleagues in a strong and aspirational department. Student outcomes in English have improved rapidly, and performance at A Level is particularly successful, with results frequently reaching above the national average.
This post would suit an NQT, RQT or more experienced teacher. With the addition of a TLR 3 for a suitable candidate, this post provides a great opportunity for anyone seeking a route in to subject leadership.
