Job overview

The purpose of this role is to provide support across the Fundraising Team as a whole and will report into, and work closely with, the Fundraising Director. This new, but pivotal role within the team will be accountable for managing and recording the income, producing regular reports required for the Executive Leadership Team and Trustees meetings as well as day-to-day fundraising administrative duties for both our Major Partnerships and Events teams.  The successful candidate will be an organised self-starter with the ability to take a holistic approach to working. This role will be varied and therefore needs someone who is happy to meticulously manage the donor database, oversee the Trusts reporting calendar as well as providing hands on support at our events. 

Experience working within a busy fundraising team, a decent working knowledge of the Raiser’s Edge database is essential.  This is a busy role requiring strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and flexibility.  

Duties include:  

  • Managing the RE database on behalf of the fundraising team; recording all income, assigning the correct constituent attributes ensuring each donor is stewarded correctly. This will include creating and overseeing the TLS reporting calendar, providing the TLS officers with impact reporting templates when needed. 
  • Liaising directly with finance on a regular basis, performing reconciliations between RE & PSF financials. This will include raising all PO’s required for the team. 
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports for the team (as well as for the DoF to present at ELT and Trustee meetings) on up to date income v budget figures using RE. Ensure Gift Aid declarations are inputted accurately into the Raiser's Edge. 
  • General fundraising administration; updating and maintaining the database with actions and background notes. Ensuring data is gathered and managed in accordance with relevant fundraising and data rules and regulations. 
  • Support to the DoF when required with booking meetings, providing information in advance of donor meetings as well as information required for internal ELT meetings To be considered for this role, the suitable candidate will have previous fundraising administration experience. 

The ideal candidate will need to be IT savvy and proficient with the Raiser’s Edge database and MS Office, particularly Excel. TreeHouse School is a non-maintained special school that was founded in 1997. Based in the heart of a thriving community in north London, it educates autistic pupils aged three to 19 from across London and the Home Counties.
