The Sports Department

King Edward’s seeks to ensure all boys have a fully rounded education and as such, sport is placed at the centre of many boys' lives.  Physical Education is compulsory in all years up to and including Year 12, and all boys will take part in at least one 2-hour games session per week.  For those that want to, there is the option of specialising in one sport for as many as five sessions per week, while others may wish to choose from a range of over 40 extra-curricular activities.

Sport is delivered annually throughout each week and on Saturdays with late finishes some weekdays and some full days on Saturday, although there is some scope for flexibility if an individual has their own high level sporting commitments.
