General Admin Assistant

K D (Kassim Darwish) is an independent Grammar School for 150 boys aged 11-16 situated in South Manchester. Although comprehensive in intake, its results are exceptionally high. In the GCSE Performance tables, the school features consistently amongst the highest performing boys’ schools in Manchester. KD is a faith school, with a caring inclusive ethos based on Islamic values, open to students of all backgrounds. Additional leave for Ramadhan, Eid and the Day of Arafat. Chorlton is a vibrant area and has easy access to the tram and bus station.

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic General Admin Assistant to join us for the new academic year commencing September 2018. The successful applicant will support in the smooth running of the Front Office. You will be working in the hub of the School as part of an integral Admin team which offers professional support and assistance to teachers, pupils, parents and visitors of KD Grammar School for Boys.

This is an important role in the school as it ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Applicants should be personable, reliable, trustworthy and flexible.  They should be good at prioritising and meeting deadlines and be able to work independently.

Working hours are school term time including INSET days plus 2 weeks during school holidays, Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm with one hour unpaid lunch.
