An exciting opportunity has arisen for a multi-skilled person who is looking for a career working within a dynamic farm team. Reaseheath College farm carries a 280-cow diary unit, young stock, 130 breeding sows plus fatteners and a flock of 540 breeding ewes. Forage crops include grass, forage maize and cereals for whole crop.
The successful candidate must be prepared to work across the full range of enterprises, be trained to our high standards, and contribute to giving our students the best possible learning experience. Flexibility with hours is essential and there is a requirement to work every other weekend (on the Pig unit).
Please note this role constitutes 'regulated activity' as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
