We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Works Department to support the maintenance carried out to our indoor and outdoor swimming pools, PAT testing and minor repairs across the whole school site. Duties will include updating testing registers, emergency light testing, care and maintenance of Works vehicles, minor repairs to electrical systems, water supply and wastewater systems and record utility meter readings.

This role is a permanent position working full-time (five days per week from 8:00am to 5:00pm between Monday and Saturday), all year round, with a starting salary of up to £25,000.00 per annum depending on skills, knowledge and experience. It is essential that the successful person holds a relevant qualification and/or experience in working with water supply and waste systems together with a relevant qualification and/or experience in PAT testing. This position can also be offered as a two-year apprenticeship for someone who is keen to learn a multi-skilled apprenticeship in property maintenance (https://bit.ly/2SsJPeZ). The cost of the qualification, PAT testing course and time mentoring will be delivered by the School and the qualification will be delivered by the training provider. The apprenticeship salary will be £8,320 per annum (during year one). Please state on your application form if you are applying for this role as an apprentice.
