Townley Grammar School is a multicultural girls' selective school with specialism in Performing and Visual Arts with Mathematics and Computing.

Requirements

This is an exciting opportunity to teach well motivated pupils in an oversubscribed school of 1500 with a thriving co-educational sixth form of over 400. Our students are bright, articulate and engaging.

We are looking for an ambitious and inspirational teacher of Geography to join a well-resourced, highly skilled and successful department which is part of the Humanities cluster. Geography is taught as a discrete subject to all students in key stages 3 and 4 and is also a popular subject in key stage 5.

Ability to teach Geography at all KS3, KS4 and KS5 is essential.

The ability to teach the physical section/aspects of the course to A2 would be an advantage.

The school offers a full induction programme for all new members of staff with excellent professional development opportunities.
