John Lyon is an academically selective independent day school, based in Harrow-on-the-Hill in North West London. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and intelligent university graduate with a ‘can do’ attitude to assist with a range of duties and activities across the School such as assisting teachers in classes, co-curricular and extra-curricular sessions and, school visits. The post holder will primarily support the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) Department alongside the School’s Music, CCF, DoE, Art, Sport or Drama initiatives in-line with the post-holder’s skills and experience.
The successful candidate will need strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to liaise with a wide range of other staff across the school, given the diverse nature of the role. They will also need to be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and have a willingness to work flexibly with both duties and hours in order to meet the requirements of the School.
