ABC Teachers are a leading supply agency in the East Midlands and we are experiencing a high demand for secondary school Cover Supervisors. We are urgently seeking graduates who have experience of working with children aged from 11-16 in any capacity who are willing to work in a variety of schools across Leicestershire on a supply basis.

As a Cover Supervisor you will deliver pre-planned lessons to students ranging from 11 – 16 years old and you will manage their behaviour effectively in the absence of the main Class Teacher. A week in the life of a Cover Supervisor is always exciting as not one day is the same; one day you could be covering a PE lesson in the sports hall and the next day you could be delivering an art class to a group of GCSE students.

ABC Teachers have an outstanding track record of finding excellent graduates and helping them with either long term supply roles or daily cover in secondary schools across Leicestershire. Working as a Cover Supervisor is a great way to build up experience in a school setting and can help to jump start you teaching career.

The successful candidates will:

· Hold a degree/or equivalent qualification

· Have experience of working in a classroom environment

· A minimum of 20  days experience (of which we can reference)

· Have a resilient character and strong personal drive

· Understand the difference a great education can make.
