The Post
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen at Ashfold for a graduate or post-graduate of music to join our team.
Assisting with pupil tutoring and providing accompaniment and vital admin support, this is a key role in helping to promote enthusiasm for, and excellence in, Music throughout the School.
The post includes a generous bursary for the successful applicant to use towards music tuition and dedicated practice time will be incorporated into the applicant's daily timetable.
The successful candidate will be a Grade 8 (minimum) pianist with experience of accompaniment on the piano, and, a passion for music as an integral part of children’s education and development.
The School
Ashfold is an established co-educational Preparatory School for around 280 children aged 3 - 13+ set in a beautiful Jacobean mansion with its own thirty acre estate in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside just twenty minutes from Oxford, Thame and Aylesbury.
Ashfold aims to give every child the firmest possible grounding in the core academic subjects, within a small caring family community where children both know each other and all of the staff. We were thrilled to have been rated ‘excellent’ by the ISI in so many areas of our provision in our last inspection.
