West Hill Park is a thriving, successful and very popular Prep school with a growing pupil roll. We are located on the edge of the idyllic village of Titchfield and within easy reach of both Portsmouth and Southampton.
The Post:
The post is suitable for recent university sports graduates. The position will provide extensive experience for a talented individual looking to pursue a career in education. The successful applicant will gain great experience of school life, together with working and living in an independent school.
An interest and ability to coach all sports will be required and a particular interest in hockey would be a specific advantage.
Initially, this would be a 1 year fixed-term position (September 2021 – August 2022). However, the opportunity to extend the contract for a further year, to include a funded teacher training qualification, would be dependent on the suitability of the appointed candidate and the needs of the school for the academic year 2022 - 23.
The post will include:
• On site free accommodation
• All meals during term time
• An annual salary of £13,500 - paid monthly.

West Hill Park School is a non-selective, non-denominational, independent preparatory school based in Titchfield, Hampshire. It has approximately 270 pupils aged 3-13.
West Hill Park School was established in 1920 by Charles Ransome. Previously family-owned, it became a charitable trust administered by a governing board in 1959. The school is situated in 28 acres of grounds in the historic village of Titchfield, in an 18th-century building.
