Job overview

Benenden School are looking to recruit an exceptional Graduate Sports Assistant. 

The successful candidate will be able to offer Lacrosse, Hockey or Netball as their specialism. Being able to assist with other sports and activities would also be beneficial. This is a full-time one year post from September 2018 with teaching, coaching, officiating and other commitments over an average 6-day week, mainly in term-time. Accommodation onsite is provided with the role.

Benenden is one of the leading boarding schools in Britain. We were founded in 1923 and are situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 541 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with approximately 180 of those in the Sixth Form. Benenden is at the forefront of girls’ education in the UK, with recent innovations including the Benenden Diploma, a bespoke curriculum for our youngest two year groups, and the Professional Skills Programme, teaching the Sixth Form skills for the workplace. We are an ambitious school, with recent developments including a state-of-the-art Science Centre and All-Weather Sports Pitch, and we are currently working to establish a new School Hall and Music School.

Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
